Valentine’s is coming up, and for those of us who are considering staying in wearing our favourite People Tree Cosy Joggers, and putting on a good old RomCom, we realised that Hugh Grant features in all of our favourites: Four Weddings and a Funeral; Notting Hill and Love Actually, to name a few. With these films in mind, we began wondering, what might we wear if we were lucky enough to go on a date with Hugh? We discussed it in the office, because we love a bit of Hugh-mour, and we think that these dresses from our brand new SS15 collection would make the cut.
For Four Weddings and a Funeral, this elegant, handwoven Naomi Party Dress [ £125.00] would be a match made in heaven for Hugh. It’s smart, elegant and a serious event dress. Hugh would definitely choose us over Carrie [Andie Macdowell].
If your favourite RomCom is Notting Hill, fear not! This lovely Orla Kiely dress with Birdwatch print [ £78.00 ] is perfect for a stroll in the park, and reading prose on benches. Just be careful who’s within earshot when you say: “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her”…
Or if you’ve been singing ‘Love is all Around’ since Christmas, because you’ve been watching Love Actually on repeat, we think the Abigail Abstract Dress [85.00] would make your heart sing, and feel primed for a dinner engagement with Hugh.
Whatever you end up doing for Valentine’s, if you’re wearing People Tree, we would love to see your pictures. Please share them with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #LovePeopleTree. *
