People Tree are proud to collaborate with various amazing bloggers who care for the people and the planet. Lovely Daisy from What Daisy Did sells ethically and sustainably produced handbags and accessories made from recycled and natural materials. When she heard of our incredible fundraising project Walk4Work in aid of Swallows, People Tree’s long term partner producer group, she decided to show her support!

“What Daisy Did bags are made in Rajasthan, India where all our workers are paid a living wage, work from home with flexible hours and are supplied with the electricity, tools and materials they need. This is obviously not the case everywhere and we were keen to support People Tree’s charity People Tree Foundation’s campaign that highlighted this issue and make people aware of the situation that a lot of workers are in.”

“We actually discovered People Tree in India, the same time that we started the business and straight away we loved the ethics, ethos and idea that clothes could be beautiful, affordable and FairTrade at the same time. We have followed their work ever since and we are happy to be a part of the amazing work they are doing in these communities. So from now until New Years Day a pound from every sale that we make on our website will go towards the Walk4Work campaign.”

“What Daisy Did want to encourage everyone to get involved this Christmas by either donating on or by following Dean and Sofi’s journey on Facebook.
