I’m a big Peter Jensen fan so the combination of Peter Jensen and People Tree (and at an accessible price) is a match made in fashion heaven. I love the crazy rabbit print that looks quite abstract from a distance but makes you smile as soon as you see what it is. I’ve been wearing it with a canvas belt over leggings or trousers and I cannot take it off.
Orla Kiely’s prints are just so joyful – they somehow straddle both worlds of retro and modernity. These lotus print trousers are a really great shape – tapered to the ankle and cropped – very flattering and altogether rather jaunty! Great with a pair of plain white trainers.
Nathan Breton Jumper (Was £68.00 – NOW £54.40)
I ordered this in large because I love a sloppy Joe and this is just the perfect Breton, complete with button shoulder. It feels so soft and comfortable on – effortless. Great for between seasons because it’s lightweight but will keep out the chills.
I thought these might make a great gift but actually I really love them too much to give them away. The enamelled squares are lovely rich jewel colours. I like to wear them all together for maximum affect.
Recycled Yarn Socks (£18)
What can I say about these socks apart from they are instant friends. They have so much character and personality that it’s a shame to cover them up with shoes. I love the colour combinations and the patterns and the fact they are obviously hand-knitted with love – socks that make my feet very happy.
Dot Animals Kimono V Top
This has a very cool Japanese designer look to it (as well as a nice sense of humour with the smiley faced animals between the dots). I love the shape of it. It’s very flattering on and the organic cotton jersey is really thick and luxurious. I’ll wear this until it falls apart – which I’m sure won’t be any time soon!
