Last week we hosted a festive brunch for bloggers and press to both, talk about the upcoming SS18 collection and to totally get into the Christmas mood, since there are only six weeks left till our favourite holiday!

We set up a Christmassy table setting decorated with candles and handmade People Tree mini baubles (which you can get your hands on at our Sample Sale Weekend from the 24th-27th of November).  As snacks and drinks we had bubbles, healthy iced teas, fresh fruit and sweet baked goods, all not only super yummy but organic and fairtrade as well. The buffet included Christmassy cinnamon buns from local E5 bakehouse, ChariTea drinks and organic Prosecco from The Vintage Roots.

To pick up the festive theme, we invited Claire, the sustainable florist from Honeysuckle & Hilda, who gave our guests a floristry class and arranged a Christmassy flower arrangement which was absolutely breathtaking. If you like her work, check her out on her social media (InstagramFacebook) and website, as you can book her work for private events as well.

The highlight of our brunch was of course the exclusive sneak-peek on our soon-to-be-launched SS18 collection including a new collaboration with the V&A. Our Creative Director Tracy showcased the collection and revealed some interesting details on the ideas behind the designs, information about the different fabrics, as well as stories and anecdotes about our producers. A one of a kind insight for the press and bloggers invited! Stay tuned for the launch of the collection on our social media 🙂

It was a lovely event with great people, interesting chats, much laughter and Christmas spirit in the air!

Thanks to great likeminded brands we’ve partnered with, our guests were also treated with a People Tree goodybag full of surprises: organic iced tea, fruit jerky made from spare fruit, seasonally flavoured fairtrade chocolate, natural hand balm and ethically made earrings.
