We hope you like the beautiful new shots of our SS16 Urban Craft Collection which hit the website this season. You can check out the collection here. But we wanted to share a sneak peek behind the scenes of the shoot with you as well.
Tracy Mulligan, People Tree’s Creative Director and the talent behind pulling the shoot together, shared her thoughts: “I’m loving creating the new styling direction for People Tree SS16. Contemporary looks, versatile pieces, easy day-to-evening looks, effortless weekend style, holiday, city or beach – we have created pieces that you will be able to use as part of your wardrobe staples for seasons to come.”
Jenny Hulme, Head of Buying and Design, and Dominika Mayerova, PR Executive , were among the inhouse team on the shoot. We checked in with them to talk about their favourite items from the collection after watching the new look come together.

“They can be worn both to the office and at the weekend and the fit is very flattering – relaxed but not too baggy. They have a flattering tie waist perfect for tucking in a white tee. The fabric is a beautiful handwoven cotton stripe which is comfortable, stylish and easy to wear.”
Dominika Mayerova, PR Executive
“My favourite piece from this season’s collection is Sophia Poplin Shirt made by Mandala. I love the shape and two surprise front pockets. It can easily be dressed up or down for any occasion and is a perfect addition to the Spring/Summer capsule wardrobe.”
